Bold Ideas.
Engineered Reality.
Two concepts from the Innovations Division, in active development: a vertical wind turbine that cleans the air it powers cities with, and a smart wall outlet that charges by touch alone.
The Innovations Division is where Carter Industries turns forward-looking concepts into engineered products. We challenge assumptions about how energy, infrastructure, and everyday technology should work — then design solutions built to last.

A Marvel of
Modern Engineering
A sleek, futuristic form built around a simple idea: unlike traditional turbines, the C‑Air WindMill is vertical, silicone‑ringed, and embedded with living moss — generating clean power while it breathes carbon out of the air around it.
Engineered in Every Detail
Clean Energy and Cleaner Air, By Design
Traditional turbines only do one job. The C‑Air WindMill was designed to do two — every component serves both power generation and air purification at once.
Vertical Ring Design
Shaped as a silicone ring rather than a traditional blade array, the C‑Air WindMill captures wind from every direction without needing to reorient.
Living Moss Core
The encasement is embedded with moss that continuously captures CO2 from the surrounding air as the turbine operates.
Nano-Perforated Shell
A transparent outer layer, textured with nano-sized punctures, lets air reach the moss while keeping it fully visible from outside.
Integrated Moisture System
A moisture absorber sits above a built-in humidifier at the core, dispersing moisture throughout the encasement to keep the moss healthy.
From Wind to Clean Power — and Cleaner Air
Wind Enters
Wind from any direction passes through the outer blade shell and drives the internal rotor, no repositioning required.
Energy Generated
Blades attached directly to the encasement convert rotation into clean electricity, maximizing output from a compact footprint.
Air Is Filtered
As air moves through the nano-perforated shell, the living moss core absorbs CO2 and pollutants from the surrounding environment.
Moss Sustained
Harvested moisture keeps the moss thriving indefinitely, so the turbine's air-cleaning capacity never diminishes over time.
Self-Sufficient. Connected. Aware.
Beyond generation and filtration, the C‑Air WindMill is designed as a smart node within the energy grid — powered entirely by the wind it captures.

Onboard AI Unit Under Development
An embedded artificial intelligence unit will monitor turbine performance and air-capture efficiency in real time.
-
02
Environmental Sensors Under Development
Integrated sensors will track wind conditions, air quality, and moss health to optimize performance automatically.
-
03
Aircraft Notification Light
A color-changing light strip, powered by the turbine's own output, signals its presence to nearby aircraft.

04
Grid & Data Connectivity
High-capacity mobile connectivity enables each unit to exchange data with other turbines and energy grids for smart, coordinated energy management.
Sustainable by Material, Not Just by Mission
Recycled, Resilient Materials
The added complexity of air-cleaning technology could make a turbine more resource-intensive to build. The C‑Air WindMill addresses this directly — constructed from recycled materials and engineered for a long service life with minimal upkeep.
Designed for Cities
Visually striking and quietly effective, the C‑Air WindMill is built for dense urban environments — where energy demand and air quality challenges are both at their highest, and where a compact vertical footprint matters most.
The C‑Air WindMill is currently a conceptual product within the Carter Industries Innovations Division. It represents our vision for the future of energy and air quality technology, and continues to advance through active design and engineering development.
Charging,
Simplified to a Touch
MagCharge replaces a standard wall outlet with a single-gang smart faceplate — dual magnetic USB-C ports that snap into alignment, a live battery readout, and a backup cell that keeps power flowing through an outage.
Engineered to Fit a Standard Wall Box
Power That Snaps Into Place
A standard outlet asks you to line up a plug by feel. MagCharge finds the connection for you — and keeps working even when the grid doesn't.
Magnetic Snap Charging
Dual magnetic USB-C sockets auto-align and lock on contact, so a cable clicks into place instead of fumbling in the dark.
Live Battery Display
A flush-mounted OLED shows real-time charge percentage on the faceplate itself, no app required to check status.
RGBW Status Ring
A diffused light ring around the sockets signals charge state at a glance, visible from across the room.
Built-In Battery Backup
An internal LiFePO4 cell, managed by a dedicated protection board, keeps both ports live through a grid outage.
From Wall Power to Wireless-Simple Charging
Grid Power In
Standard 100–240V AC enters through a single-gang box and steps down through an isolated AC-DC converter stage.
Battery Maintained
A protected LiFePO4 cell stays topped off behind the faceplate, ready to deliver power the moment the grid drops.
Devices Connect
A cable's magnetic head finds the socket on its own, aligning and locking on with a snap instead of a search.
Status Displayed
The OLED readout and RGBW ring keep charge level and connection state visible on the wall at all times.
Connected. Aware. Always On.
Beneath the faceplate, MagCharge runs on the same standard of engineering as every Innovations Division product — built to stay reliable long after installation.
